Ibuprofen 200 mg, paracetamol 350 mg, caffeine 50 mg
Indications/Uses
To relieve pain in headache, muscle pain, toothache, primary dysmenorrhea & reduce fever.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1 caplet 3-4 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol, ibuprofen, other NSAIDs, caffeine. Patients w/ severe & active peptic ulcer. Patients w/ asthma, rhinitis, or urticaria when using acetosal or other NSAIDs. Severe liver dysfunction. Last trimester of pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Do not exceed recommended dose. A history of upper GI disease (ie, peptic ulcer). Heart failure, HTN, other disease which may cause body fluid retention. Blood coagulation disorders. Asthma. SLE. Avoid concomitant use w/ acetosal or other drugs which contain paracetamol, ibuprofen or warfarin anticoagulants. Impaired kidney function. Pregnancy, lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, skin redness, thrombocytopenia, lymphopenia. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur especially in patients w/ a history of asthma or allergic reactions to NSAIDs. Prolonged use & large dose may cause liver dysfunction. May increase the risk of liver dysfunction in alcoholic patients.
Drug Interactions
MTX, lithium, hepatotoxic agents.
